Project time varies greatly depending on requirements, size and scope of project. Our bid is a fixed price quote for completing the entire paving job.  If there are any changes additional costs will be approved in writing before work continues. Vitale Asphalt will contact Ohio Utilities Protection Service (OUPS) prior to an install to verify there are no buried wires or pipes underneath the area where the paving will occur.

Vitale Asphalt believes in scheduling inspections when discussing a new contract to get a better idea of the job at hand, if there are any costs these will be included in the total cost. More than one inspection may be required depending on the project (e.g. after the installation of the sub-base and base layers, after the raising of any municipal water or sewage pipes and after the application of the asphalt hot mix).

Vitale Asphalt is a top-tier Asphalt company and believes you should expect nothing, but the best from our family to yours. We will make sure the finished pavement has the specifications, such as slopes and drainage, discussed with you. Vitale Asphalt will not backfill around the pavement unless specified in the contract.

Some Key Tips to know when being in the market for pavement:

1. You will not be able to drive on a brand new pavement for at least 3-4 days, depending on how warm the outdoor temperature is, we will be sure to give you an estimate on how long to wait when placing the asphalt.
   
2. Turning on fresh asphalt or pavement, make sure your vehicle is moving and not doing any tight turns as it could create scuff marks.
   
3. Even though it is okay to drive on a new driveway after the initial waiting period; it will take about 12 months for the driveway to fully cure.
   
4. Lastly, avoid driving on the edges, this is where the asphalt will be at it's weakest. Vitale Asphalt suggests building up soil or gravel around the pavement edges to reduce the risk of damage.
